Software Requirements
F3. Is PostgreSQL supported for use with IUCLID 6?
A3. Currently, PostgreSQL is not always supported for use with IUCLID 6. But that’s because the overview might suggest a way to improve performance. If you want to select “Please test postgresql” please contact IUCLID support for instructions.
The only supported databases might be JavaDB/what derby, which is mostly free, and Oracle, which is commercial. For more information about software requirements, see the net this documentation.

B4. Is Tomcat supported for use with IUCLID 6?
A4. Tomcat is not supported for use with IUCLID 6. This is just one of the major technical conversions between IUCLID 5 and iuclid 1. The Tomcat application server is full of GlassFish (version 3.1.2, possibly 4).
B5. Which operating systems are supported by all Server Linux versions: Windows, macOS?
A5. IUCLID 6 can run on Windows, macOS or Linux. For details on the operating systems currently supported and tested by ECHA, see the system page of the iuclid website.

A3. PostgreSQL is not currently supported for installation with IUCLID 6. However, this may not be sufficient, as validation offers a way to improve performance. If you would like to test postgresql, please contact IUCLID support for instructions.

A4. Tomcat is not intended to be used with IUCLID 6. This is one of the most important practical changes between IUCLID 5 and Half iuclid. The Tomcat application server is considered to be replaced by GlassFish (versions 3.1.2 and 4).
